EASTBOUND I-10, TEXAS — All main lanes on eastbound Interstate 10 are closed from east of SH-123 to east of FM-78 (mile markers 608 to 610) due to active road construction. The full closure affects travel between Rio Nogales Drive and State Highway 123, creating major overnight traffic impacts.
All eastbound traffic is being detoured off the main highway lanes and directed onto the adjacent frontage road. TxDOT crews and traffic control personnel are stationed along the corridor to guide vehicles through the bypass.
This is a recurring nighttime closure scheduled between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM each night. The nightly operations are expected to continue through 5:00 AM on November 8, 2026.
