SH-302, TEXAS — All main lanes on State Highway 302 are completely shut down in both directions between 10.9 and 11.5 miles west of FM-1232 near mile marker 204. The closure is required due to large debris scattered across the roadway, blocking travel lanes.
Traffic management crews have implemented detours around the hazard. Westbound drivers are advised to detour using FM-1232, while eastbound traffic is being turned around in Mentone while clean-up crews work to clear the roadway.
The incident was reported at approximately 3:49 p.m., with TxDOT estimating clearance and roadway reopening around 7:00 p.m.
