SOUTHBOUND FM 969 — All southbound main lanes on FM 969 are shut down following a major traffic incident between FM 3177 and US 183. The full blockage impacts travel from mile marker 0452 to mile marker 0450, completely stalling southbound traffic in the corridor.
Emergency response personnel and clearance crews are actively working on scene to secure the roadway. No official detour has been established, resulting in growing traffic congestion through the affected stretch.
TxDOT reports that the closure began shortly after 8:00 PM on October 21. Roadway clearance operations are projected to continue until approximately midnight as crews clear the obstruction.
