WESTBOUND SH-183, TEXAS — The entrance ramp connecting the westbound SH-183 (Airport Freeway) general-purpose lanes to the westbound TEXpress Lanes is closed near Industrial Boulevard (FM 157). The closure affects westbound traffic near mile marker 0582, approximately half a mile west of FM 157.
Traffic management crews have marked a detour to route motorists around the blocked entrance. Westbound traffic is being maintained entirely within the general-purpose lanes while the toll entrance remains obstructed.
The nighttime closure took effect at 9:00 PM on Friday, November 6, 2026, and is scheduled to clear by 6:30 AM on Saturday, November 7, 2026.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers traveling through the corridor should adjust navigation routes to utilize the main lanes. We will update this report if road conditions change or closure times are extended.
