SOUTHBOUND I-820, TEXAS — The southbound Interstate 820 ramp connecting to westbound Interstate 20 is fully closed to traffic near mile marker 34. The closure affects the direct connector just north of the I-20 interchange.
Traffic management crews have implemented a marked detour to direct vehicles around the closed exit ramp. Motorists traveling through the interchange must follow posted detour signs to access westbound I-20.
This is a nighttime closure that took effect at 9:00 p.m. on November 6, 2026. The ramp is expected to reopen by 6:00 a.m. on November 7, 2026.
