TxDOT has classified the incident at maximum severity (5/5). Impacted travel conditions and ongoing roadway management operations are currently scheduled to persist through an estimated clearance window ending April 22, 2027, at 5:45 p.m.
Motorists, dispatchers, and commercial drivers are advised to bypass the affected stretch of RM-2244 entirely or exercise extreme caution on elevated surfaces. We will update this report as TxDOT issues further operational updates and reopening schedules.
