NORTHBOUND I-35, TEXAS — Multiple travel lanes, including the left lane, are closed on northbound Interstate 35 between Frost Bank Center Drive and George Beach Avenue. The closure spans from Mile Marker 160 to Mile Marker 162, just south of the I-410 interchange, resulting in significant nighttime traffic congestion.
Traffic management crews have implemented active detours to route motorists around the restricted mainlanes. Law enforcement and highway personnel are on site to manage merging traffic and guide heavy commercial vehicles through the work zone.
These nighttime operations are scheduled to run daily from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The recurring closures began on November 2, 2026, and are expected to conclude by 5:00 AM on November 9, 2026.
