NORTHBOUND I-27, TEXAS — A traffic incident has forced the closure of the left lane on northbound Interstate 27 just north of FM 928. The blockage affects traffic at mile marker 69, spanning an area between 0.3 and 0.7 miles north of the interchange.
Emergency response and maintenance crews are on the scene actively working to secure and clear the roadway. While no official detour is currently active and widespread delays have not been reported, traffic is restricted to the single remaining right travel lane through the immediate work zone.
The Texas Department of Transportation estimates that the scene will be cleared and the left lane reopened by approximately 12:00 PM.
