SH-146, TEXAS — All main lanes on State Highway 146 are closed near Port Road following a crash and resulting hazardous materials spill. The closure impacts the corridor between mile marker 0498 and mile marker 0494, stretching from south of BS-146D to south of SH-225.
Emergency response personnel and environmental cleanup teams are actively on scene working to contain the chemical spill and clear the collision debris. No formal detour routes have been set up by traffic management.
TxDOT currently estimates that the cleanup and investigation will keep the roadway closed until approximately 1:00 PM.
