NORTHBOUND I-35E, TEXAS — Four right lanes are shut down on northbound Interstate 35E near 12th Street, between mile markers 425 and 426, following a crash and hazardous materials spill. Traffic flow is severely restricted, with vehicles passing the scene solely via the far-left lane.
Emergency responders and environmental cleanup crews are on site working to contain the hazmat spill and clear damaged vehicles. The multi-lane blockage has led to significant congestion extending south toward State Highway 180.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, clearance operations are actively underway with an estimated reopening time of 12:00 PM.
Motorists and freight dispatchers are urged to plan alternate routes and anticipate extensive delays through the area. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
