EASTBOUND SH-183, TEXAS — All eastbound TEXpress lanes on SH-183 (Airport Freeway) are closed from the Hurstview Drive exit to Industrial Boulevard (FM-157) near Mile Marker 0582. The complete managed lane closure extends from just north of SH-121 to approximately 0.36 miles east of FM-157 in Tarrant County.
General purpose main lanes remain open and are not affected by the closure. Traffic management crews have implemented a detour directing all eastbound TEXpress traffic into the standard general purpose lanes to bypass the closed toll section.
This is a nighttime-only operation that takes effect nightly starting at 9:00 p.m. on November 2, 2026. The recurring overnight closures are scheduled to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on November 5, 2026.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers routing freight through the Mid-Cities area should plan for lane merges into the main lanes during overnight travel windows. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
