SOUTHBOUND SH-121, TEXAS — A full closure of the TEXpress lanes is underway on southbound SH-121 (Airport Freeway) between mile markers 292 and 296, extending from east of SH-183 to north of I-820. All westbound/southbound TEXpress lanes from Main Street to Texas Boulevard 26 are shut down, while general-purpose main lanes remain completely open.
Road maintenance crews have implemented designated detours to channel all vehicles onto the general-purpose lanes. Traffic flow is currently maintained without reported delays, and barricades are actively redirecting motorists away from the toll corridor.
The nighttime closure took effect at 9:00 PM on November 6, 2026, and is scheduled to be cleared by 6:30 AM on November 7, 2026.
Commercial motor carriers and local motorists should plan on utilizing the standard main lanes through this interchange zone. We will update this report if closure times change or if unexpected delays occur.
