EASTBOUND I-20, TEXAS — All eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 are fully closed to traffic between Business US-287P and east of I-820 (mile markers 442 to 443). The major highway closure is completely blocking eastbound travel through this corridor.
Transportation crews have shut down all lanes and established an active detour. Motorists traveling eastbound on I-20 must exit and follow the designated detour signage around the closure area.
This scheduled nighttime closure began at 9:00 PM on November 6, 2026, and is estimated to wrap up by 6:00 AM on November 7, 2026, when lanes are slated to reopen.
