EASTBOUND I-10, TEXAS — A traffic crash on eastbound Interstate 10 has forced the closure of the right lane between mile marker 229 and mile marker 230, east of FM-2448. The incident has reduced eastbound traffic to a single lane, creating notable slowdowns through the corridor.
Emergency responders and road crews are on the scene working to manage traffic and clear the obstruction. No detour has been established, requiring all eastbound motorists to merge and pass through the active zone in the single remaining open lane.
TxDOT reports that the lane closure began around 11:55 a.m. and is estimated to remain in place until approximately 2:00 p.m. Delays are ongoing in the immediate vicinity of the crash site.
Drivers and freight operators are urged to exercise caution, slow down, and maintain safe following distances when approaching the queue. We will update this report as additional information becomes available.
